Lou Joia is deeply rooted in the rich heritage of Scandinavian and Nordic design, with a special focus on Danish interiors. We proudly partner with leading Scandinavian brands and local suppliers to transform homes across Dublin, making each space feel personal, serene, and inspiring.

our story
Lou Joia means La Joie, or joy, in Latin and it’s also a heartfelt nod to Chloe’s daughter, Lou Rose. At Lou Joia, we believe every home should be filled with beauty and meaning. Our mission is to bring joy into every space through carefully curated art, thoughtfully chosen furniture, and a deep appreciation for design that inspires emotion.
The story began with Chloe, the founder of Lou Joia. With over a decade of professional theatre experience, Chloe discovered her passion for contemporary painting in 2010, creating and selling her work to private collectors across France. In 2015, Chloe and her husband, Fabien, relocated to South Dublin. While both hold leadership roles in the corporate world, creativity has always remained at the heart of their lives. Fabien is a certified yoga instructor and Chloe completed her Interior Design Certification.
What started as a personal project soon sparked interest in the local community. After reimagining a newly built penthouse into a Nordic Parisian sanctuary, Chloe began receiving inquiries from neighbours, her followers on Instagram and clients alike. The response was overwhelmingly positive and the vision for Lou Joia Studio was born.
In early 2025, Chloe and Fabien moved into their custom-designed home, crafted over 18 months in collaboration with exceptional suppliers and artisans. Their interiors highlight outstanding Danish design, blending minimalism with soul and showcasing timeless aesthetics, natural materials and expert craftsmanship.
