Delicate and quietly understated, Rosa Perlino marble is characterised by its soft blush tones, subtle mineral variation and natural veining. Each vessel reveals a different composition, making every piece entirely unique.
Carved from a hand-selected slab of natural stone, Rosa Perlino has a gentle sculptural presence: refined, tactile and understated. Its muted pink hue brings warmth without sweetness, allowing the beauty of the material to remain architectural and timeless.
Created to mirror the character of the stone itself, the fragrance is delicate, grounded and quietly sensual. Fresh citrus and fig open into an aromatic heart, before settling into warm woods and soft musk:

Hand-poured in Dublin using non-toxic, natural soy wax, Lou Joia candles are crafted for a clean, considered burn. Designed to be reused, each marble vessel is accompanied by a hand-sewn white velvet pouch. A discreet Lou Joia brass signature is set at the base of each piece.

The Core Collection
Distinctive and expressive, Calacatta Viola is defined by its luminous ivory ground, animated by sweeping veins of burgundy and violet. Each piece is entirely unique, revealing its own rhythm, movement and natural intensity.
Carved into a sculptural vessel, the stone balances delicacy with drama. Fluid veining moves across the pale surface like a composition in itself, giving each piece a rich, architectural presence while retaining an effortless sense of refinement.

Your Lou Joia marble candle is designed to remain long after the final burn.
Once the candle has been fully enjoyed, your marble vessel can be returned to our Dublin workshop as part of The Refill Ritual. We will provide a pre-paid shipping label so it can be sent back to us safely.
Each vessel is carefully inspected, cleansed, re-wicked and hand-poured once again with a Lou Joia fragrance chosen to complement the colour and character of the stone.
A considered way to preserve the craftsmanship of the original piece, reduce waste and continue living with the natural beauty of marble.
Your renewed candle is then returned to you, ready to begin the ritual again.
Your Lou Joia marble candle was designed to live beautifully beyond its first burn.
Once your candle has been fully enjoyed, you may send your marble vessel back to us for our Lou Joia Refill Ritual. We will send you a pre-paid shipping label so you can safely send your candle back to our workshop.
Each vessel is carefully inspected, cleansed, re-wicked and hand-poured again with a Lou Joia scent selected to complement the colour and character of your marble.
This service allows you to continue enjoying the beauty of your natural stone vessel while reducing waste and preserving the craftsmanship of your original piece.
Your renewed candle will then be returned to you, ready to illuminate your home once more.
The details

Each vessel is carved from natural marble, chosen for its individual colour, veining and movement. No two pieces are identical, variations in tone and pattern are intrinsic to the stone and make every Marble Ritual Candle entirely unique.
Finished with a discreet Lou Joia brass signature and hand-poured in Dublin.

Approx. 80 hours burn timeSubstantial in weight and sculptural in form, each vessel is designed as an object to remain in the home long beyond its first flame.

For the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface before extinguishing.
Before each subsequent burn, trim the wick to approximately 5 mm and gently re-centre it while the wax is warm if required.
We recommend extinguishing the flame with a candle snuffer and allowing the marble to cool naturally before handling.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Each Lou Joia fragrance is composed with the structure of a fine perfume, developing through distinct top, heart and base notes. Fragrance compositions vary according to the stone, individual scent notes are detailed on each candle page.

Made with a 100% natural soy wax base, blended with 9% fine fragrance oil and finished with cotton wicks.
Our fragrances may contain naturally occurring fragrance allergens including Limonene, Linalool, Citronellol, Coumarin and Cinnamyl Alcohol.
Fragrance composition varies between scents. Please refer to the individual product label for the most accurate ingredient information.
