The Dark Rituals
Dramatic and deeply architectural, Nero Marquina marble is defined by its intense black surface, traced with fine white and beige veining. Each piece is entirely unique, revealing the natural movement and depth of the stone.
Carved into a sculptural vessel, the material speaks for itself, bold yet restrained, bringing contrast and quiet intensity to refined interiors.

At the intersection of art, interior design, and ritual, the Marble Ritual Candle was conceived as more than a candle: a sculptural object to be lived with, placed with care, and experienced over time.
Created by an artist and interior designer, each piece reflects a deep sensitivity to material and presence.
Each candle is designed as an exploration of contrast: light and shadow, weight and softness, stillness and movement. The collection draws on the raw purity of natural materials and the atmosphere they create within a space.
Lou Joia is an ode to considered living: where material, form and ritual come together to create a sense of calm, presence and quiet refinement.

Wax and wicks are sourced from Wicklow, Ireland. Finished in natural marble, every piece is designed and hand-poured in Dublin.

Designed as an object to last.
Recyclable packaging is used wherever possible. The laminated label should be removed and disposed of separately. Each piece is protected in a bespoke velvet dust bag and accompanied by the story of the marble and care guidance.
Once the candle has burned through, the marble vessel may be gently cleaned and reused, extending its life well beyond the ritual.
