Inside the studio
Chloé Lasserre
Founder & Creative Director
Chloé Lasserre is the founder and creative director of Lou Joia Studio, an award-winning Scandinavian interior design studio based in Dublin.
A certified interior designer, Chloé also holds a Master’s degree in International Luxury Marketing from EDHEC Business School. Her multidisciplinary background brings together spatial design, creative direction and a deep understanding of craftsmanship, materiality and the emotional value of beautifully considered objects.
Inspired by Scandinavian architecture, Danish craftsmanship and Japanese principles of simplicity, her work is characterised by calm spatial compositions, natural materials, sculptural forms and a strong sensitivity to light.
As creative director, Chloé leads the vision for every Lou Joia Studio project. She works closely with each client to understand how they live, what they value and how they want their home to feel, before developing a deeply personal and cohesive design direction.
Her role encompasses creative strategy, spatial planning, material and furniture selection, bespoke design, supplier collaboration, procurement and final styling.
Chloé is also the creator of Lou Joia Studio’s collection of architectural marble objects and candles, extending the studio’s philosophy into pieces designed to bring beauty, ritual and quiet presence into the home.
Joanna Trindade
Architectural Designer
Joanna Trindade is a architectural designer whose practice brings together architecture, interior design and visual communication.
She began her studies in Architecture and Urbanism at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro before completing both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Strasbourg in France.
Her international experience spans architectural practices in Portugal, France and Brazil, including Carolina Maluhy + Partners, a São Paulo-based studio recognised for its high-end projects across Brazil, the United Kingdom and Europe.
At Lou Joia Studio, Joanna helps translate the creative vision for each project into precise and carefully resolved architectural solutions. Her work encompasses spatial planning, technical drawings, bespoke joinery, kitchen and bathroom design, architectural detailing and three-dimensional visualisation.
An admirer of Brazilian Brutalist architecture, Joanna is equally drawn to the clarity and restraint of Scandinavian design. Although distinct in expression, she sees both traditions as grounded in intentionality, material honesty and the belief that every architectural decision should serve a purpose.
Her perspective brings architectural depth, technical precision and a strong sensitivity to composition, strengthening the studio’s ability to deliver increasingly complex residential renovation projects.
Lou Joia Studio works with a trusted network of architects, craftspeople, builders, joiners, suppliers and specialist consultants, carefully selected for each project.
