Sculptural candles carved from natural stone and hand-poured in Dublin.
Created at the intersection of fragrance, material and object design, each Lou Joia candle is carved from a naturally unique block of marble. The fragrance within is composed with the complexity of a fine perfume, unfolding through carefully layered top, heart and base notes.

Veining, mineral deposits, colour and movement are determined by nature. No two pieces of stone are ever the same; each Lou Joia vessel exists as a singular object.

Each vessel is carved from natural marble, chosen for its individual colour, veining and movement. No two pieces are identical, variations in tone and pattern are intrinsic to the stone and make every Marble Ritual Candle entirely unique.
Finished with a discreet Lou Joia brass signature and hand-poured in Dublin.

Approx. 80 hours burn timeSubstantial in weight and sculptural in form, each vessel is designed as an object to remain in the home long beyond its first flame.

For the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface before extinguishing.
Before each subsequent burn, trim the wick to approximately 5 mm and gently re-centre it while the wax is warm if required.
We recommend extinguishing the flame with a candle snuffer and allowing the marble to cool naturally before handling.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Each Lou Joia fragrance is composed with the structure of a fine perfume, developing through distinct top, heart and base notes. Fragrance compositions vary according to the stone, individual scent notes are detailed on each candle page.

Made with a 100% natural soy wax base, blended with 9% fine fragrance oil and finished with cotton wicks.
Our fragrances may contain naturally occurring fragrance allergens including Limonene, Linalool, Citronellol, Coumarin and Cinnamyl Alcohol.
Fragrance composition varies between scents. Please refer to the individual product label for the most accurate ingredient information.

The Core Collection is presented in a hand-sewn black velvet pouch, while limited-edition Rosa Perlino is presented in white, designed to protect the natural stone long after its journey to you.
Inside, you will find the story of your marble together with fragrance and candle-care notes.
Recyclable packaging is used wherever possible, with every element considered to minimise unnecessary waste.
