Orders and delivery

  • We currently ship across the Republic of Ireland at a flat rate of €10 per order.

    We work with trusted delivery partners, including DPD and An Post, to ensure your order arrives safely.

    We will soon be introducing additional delivery options, allowing customers across Europe to purchase Lou Joia Marble Candles directly from our website.

  • Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number by email, along with a link to the relevant courier tracking page.

    We work with DPD and An Post, so your tracking link will direct you to the appropriate delivery partner.

    Please note that it can take up to 48 hours for your tracking number to become active on the courier’s website.

  • Once you have placed your order, amendments or cancellations cannot be made. Please contact us below if you need help with an existing order.

  • We always aim to dispatch and deliver Lou Joia orders within the communicated timeframe. However, occasional delays can occur due to courier processing times, peak periods, public holidays or other external factors.

    If your order has not arrived as expected, please review the guidance below before contacting us.

    If your order is late:

    Most delayed parcels arrive within 5 business days of the expected delivery date.

    Before contacting us, please check the following:

    • Check your tracking link
      Your dispatch email will include a tracking number and a link to the relevant courier tracking page.

    • Verify your delivery address
      Please confirm that the delivery details entered at checkout are correct. You can find these in your order confirmation email.
      If the order was sent as a gift, please ensure the recipient’s name, address, phone number, and Eircode were entered correctly.

    • Check for a delivery notification or card
      Your parcel may have been delivered to a local collection point, post office, neighbour, or designated courier location. Please check any email, SMS, app notification, or delivery card from DPD or An Post.

    • Look for a safe place delivery
      Please check around your delivery premises, including your porch, mailbox, reception area, behind gates, or any safe place usually used for deliveries.

    • Check for known service delays
      Any interruptions to delivery services may be listed on the relevant DPD or An Post tracking pages.

    If your tracking details are not updating

    Tracking updates can sometimes take time to appear. Couriers often provide milestone updates rather than real-time tracking, which means your parcel may still be moving even if the tracking has not recently changed.

    Please allow up to 48 hours for your tracking number to become active. If there has been no tracking update for 5 business days, please contact us with your order details.

    If tracking says delivered, but you haven’t received your parcel:

    Please check whether someone else may have accepted the parcel on your behalf, such as:

    • Someone at your home

    • A neighbour

    • A workplace reception desk

    • Building management

    • A mailroom or concierge

    If you think your parcel may be lost or stolen:

    If you have completed the checks above and still cannot locate your parcel, please contact us with your order number and tracking details so we can help investigate with the courier.

    Please note that shipping timeframes are approximate and cannot be guaranteed. Orders placed after 12pm on a Friday, over the weekend or on a public holiday will be processed on the next business day. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Additional processing delays may occur during busy or peak periods.

  • If an item has been damaged in transit, Lou Joia will provide you with a refund.

    Please contact us at info@loujoia.com with your order details and an accompanying photo of the damaged item.

  • If you experiencing issues at checkout, please contact info@loujoia.com and provide clear screenshots (including any error messages you are seeing). You may also encounter a pop-up requesting verification of your card details through 3D-Secure.

  • If a Lou Joia product you purchased online is not suitable, we will be happy to help coordinate a return.

    To request a return, please contact us so we can provide you with a prepaid return postal label. Once we have received your returned item, we will process your refund to the original payment method.

    Please note:

    • Returns must be requested within 30 days of purchase

    • Items must be returned in their original condition

    • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

    • Return shipping is free of charge when using the prepaid postal label provided by Lou Joia
