A Study in Danish Living
Kilternan, Dublin
Entirely designed by Lou Joia Studio, including bespoke architectural joinery, this living space was conceived as a sanctuary for slowing down and reconnecting. Inspired by the understated sophistication of Copenhagen’s boutique hotels, the interior explores a harmonious interplay of natural oak, tactile materials and sculptural forms. Soft architectural lighting, refined detailing and a carefully considered palette create an atmosphere of warmth and quiet intimacy, where Danish design sensibility meets the art of understated luxury.
A remarkable collector’s chair, where sculptural timber and tactile shearling celebrate timeless craftsmanship. Set against bespoke oak joinery, this iconic piece brings warmth, character and understated sophistication to the space.
Bespoke oak joinery with refined sliding doors conceals the television, preserving the room’s calm, architectural simplicity. Inspired by Japanese craftsmanship, the design balances functionality with understated elegance, where every detail has been thoughtfully considered.
