Rosso Levanto

“Some pieces are about who you are. Others are about who shaped you.

It carries my sister, who has always worn a fragrance built around dark orchids, a scent I have known almost as long as I have known her. To smell it is to be returned to her, instantly. To every late conversation, every shared room, every version of ourselves we have grown through together.

It carries Paris too. The city where I first began to notice burgundy as a colour with weight, in the marble of a hotel lobby, the velvet of a banquette, the lacquer of a door I passed and never opened. A colour I have collected ever since, in small touches throughout my own home. A signal, to me, of a certain kind of beauty. Considered, grown-up & a little indulgent.

That is what Rosso is. Indulgence in its quietest form. The orchid and the lotus wood at its heart, the truffle and bergamot above, the dark chocolate and vetiver below, a fragrance that does not announce itself but stays in the room long after you have left it.

I wanted a vessel that could hold all of that warmth without ever feeling heavy. A material with its own richness, its own quiet drama so that the candle and the stone speak the same language.
