Interior Design Consultations
Focused professional guidance for your home.
Not every project requires a complete interior design service.
Lou Joia Studio’s consultation packages are created for clients who would like expert direction, clarity and reassurance while remaining responsible for the implementation of their project.
Whether you are selecting materials, reconsidering a room layout, preparing for a renovation or simply feeling overwhelmed by too many decisions, we provide considered and practical guidance shaped around your home, lifestyle and aesthetic.
Rooted in Scandinavian simplicity and thoughtful functionality, each consultation is designed to help you move forward with greater confidence and a clear creative direction.
Our approach
Every project unfolds through a thoughtful conversation between us, you, and the space itself. We listen more than we speak. We observe how light moves, how you move through a room. Then we design.
-
A 30-minute conversation to understand your vision, lifestyle, and what brings you peace. We listen, ask questions and begin to know you.
-
A comprehensive 2-hour consultation where we dive deeper. Site visit, detailed discussion of your needs, exploration of your aesthetic preferences and full creative briefing.
Our two-hour interior design consultation service is priced at €350, including travel within Dublin and Wicklow.
-
We bring you onto our Notion platform, your dedicated project workspace.
Here, we share inspiration, moodboards, references and keep you updated throughout every phase of the design journey.
-
We develop a comprehensive design concept rooted in Nordic and Japandi principles. Moodboards, 2D and 3D renderings and early sketches that translate your vision into form.
-
Following your feedback, we refine the selected design direction during the agreed revision stages.
Once the developed design has been approved, the project progresses to technical development, specification and implementation.
-
We guide you through sourcing, specification and implementation. Supporting you every step until the vision is fully realised and the space is ready to be lived in.
Our pricing
At Lou Joia Studio, we believe that every home deserves a considered and individual approach. From a single-room transformation to a complete residential renovation, no two projects share the same requirements, ambitions or complexities.
Our design fees reflect this individuality.
We begin with a complimentary 30-minute discovery call to understand your vision, the scope of your project and how our studio can best support you.
Interior Design Consultation
Our two-hour interior design consultation is priced at €350, including travel within Dublin and Wicklow.
This consultation is an essential first step in our design process, allowing us to explore your home, understand its potential and assess the level of design involvement required.
Following the consultation, we prepare a tailored and transparent proposal outlining the scope of work, our creative process, deliverables and associated investment.
Bespoke Interior Design Services
For larger residential projects, our fees are determined by the scope, complexity and anticipated timeline. A 50% deposit is required upon acceptance of the proposal to secure your project within our studio schedule.
Ultimately, our approach is rooted in creating thoughtful, enduring interiors, spaces that feel deeply personal, beautifully considered and designed to be lived in for years to come.
